Nau mai, Haere mai
Welcome to the “Te Puna” room at Rockmybaby® Childcare Centre Napier
Where children and whānau grow together - children are at the heart of everything we do! We focus on the well-being of our precious children - our future leaders.

‘Te puna', is our room for our older children. Children move through via our Teina room if they have started with us as infants and generally move through to Te Puna after the milestone of their second birthday. However, we look at each age and stage of the individual child and work inclusively with whānau on timing.
We are passionate and dedicated to providing high-quality childcare and education to our children. We foster respectful, reciprocal relationships and value whānau contribution and aspirations. Our passionate teaching team have been carefully selected and work together with whānau to proved the best for the tamariki in their care.

Kia Ora, my name is Anita and I have been working in the Early Childhood sector since 2010 and I have just recently completed my Bachelor of Teaching (ECE). I have experience with all age groups but am very passionate about babies.
I believe that all tamariki need the time and space to learn and develop at their own pace and I am eager to support them towards their learning journey.

Clare Vette - Team Leader
Kia ora koutou,
I am Clare Vette, wife to David and mother to 3 boys - Tyler, Levi and Finlay. I love gardening and getting out in nature, being active and enjoying the adventures Hawkes Bay has to offer. We have 2 dogs who enjoy walks and visiting the beaches, though one is getting older and can’t handle the energy of the other!
I have lived and worked here in Napier for my whole teaching career, having graduated in 2008 with my Diploma in ECE I have worked in a diverse range of environments and developed a clear philosophy that has relationships at the heart of everything. I love seeing natural play and learning unfold, and supporting our young learners to be social, expressive and confident, and always to have fun along the learning journey.
I look forward to getting to know everyone and settling into this wonderful new space.
Me mahi tahi tatou mo te oranga o te katoa
We should work together for the well being of everyone.
